Chargers Face PE after Holiday Break

VICTORIA – The Central Chargers boys varsity basketball team will return to action on January 2 with a road game at Prince Edward. The Chargers lost several key players from last season and are still looking to find their stride this year.

After starting the season with three straight James River District games against Buckingham, Bluestone and Randolph-Henry, the Chargers are still looking for their first win of the season. Prince Edward is a tough place to play, but CHS Coach Mike McGrath continues to search for the right combination of players that has only one senior who has played before.

The team will play Prince Edward next Wednesday night on the road with the JV game starting at 5:30 and the varsity game beginning around 7 p.m.

The Varsity team consists of Darien Jones, Cameron Kates, Tyler McGrath, Khalil Moore,  Trey Patterson III, Shamond Sellers, Mark Strigel II, Davion Taylor, Matthew Warren, T’zion Wilkerson, Khalil Wood, and Nehemiah Wood.
