IMG_3447For the thirtieth year, Charlotte Court House celebrated the beginning of the Christmas season with music, carols, lights, and cookies. The program began with a moment of silence in remembrance of families struggling with loss and illness. As pictured, the youngest members of the crowd especially enjoyed Rick Mann’s rendition of “How Many Kings.” Janie Atwood threw the switch to turn on the lights and the on-lookers applauded. As Mayor Walker said, “When I turn the corner in this season, and see the lights on the town tree, I know I’m home.” He went on to comment on the friendliness of the community and how the citizens work together in good times and bad.  Merry Christmas from the Town of Charlotte Court House!
