Block Party Palooza!

Residents, visitors and community members were able to enjoy a fun-filled day of excitement at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Block Party event featured a variety of games for children, a bounce house, food for sale, a car show and vendors. Local vendors in attendance offered an assortment of well-known goods and personal favorites including Scentsy, Avon, Tupperware, homemade canned goods and survival straps to name a few. Even Smokey the Bear stopped in to visit! According to their website, Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center encourages all residents to participate in their activity functions. These functions can include games, music, religious services, and other forms of entertainment. “This encourages socialization and a sense of community for our residents”.
