Betty Martin Ayers

Betty Martin Ayers, age 77, of 405 Able Road Drakes Branch, Virginia, was born on May 24, 1938. She passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

Betty is survived by two sons, Rocky Ayers and wife, Brenda, Ricky Ayers and wife, Debbie; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gracie M. Tharpe, Edna Hershman, and Debra Hazlewood;  and special friends, Rita Turner and Norma Newcomb.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, with interment to follow in Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charlotte County Rescue Squad.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville,, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
