Additional LCPS WiFi Locations has Lunenburg with Over 20 Spots

LUNENBURG – Students, families, teachers and Lunenburg County Public Schools staff continue to work toward making virtual school at the start of this year as good and easy a transition as possible, while COVID-19 issues continue to plague the area and around the state.

LCPS officials have been working to offer as many free WiFi locations as possible throughout the county and recently added ten additional locations to go along with the school and school board locations.

School officials and the technology department approached locations throughout the county to see if LCPS hot spots could be put there. Many area churches have joined in to allow for these WiFi hotspots to be placed around the county and give students more options for using them.

With the addition of the new WiFi locations as well as the addition of several businesses and area locations offering free WiFi to help out, Lunenburg currently has 21 places for students to use.

Victoria Baptist Church

Town of Kenbridge – Click on Kenbridge Public WiFi–You can reach it from 5th Ave, the town office’s parking lot, the park, the gym parking lot (as long as you don’t park in close to the gym on Farmers Market side) and the Farmers Market.

Rosewood Cafe at Lunenburg Courthouse is offering their personal WiFi connection for school children during opening hours free of charge, if you are having difficulty with WiFi.  Space is limited and children must be accompanied by an adult. YOU MUST CALL TO RESERVE A TIME 434-696-1790!
