Hotel Charlotte Condemned

The historic Hotel Charlotte served Keysville as one of two hotels located in town.  The Keysville Hotel which was located on King Street was demolished in 1969.The Hotel Charlotte was converted to apartments in the 1960’s.  In recent years the exterior of the Hotel has had renovations and has been maintained. But the interior, including plumbing and electrical, was obsolete.    This year the owners, in conjunction with the Town of Keysville, The County Building Inspector and the State Fire Marshal agreed the building should be condemned for occupancy.  The tenants were given until December 31 to move.

At this time future plans for the building are unavailable.
