Are They Stupid?

People across America are protesting the recent Supreme Court Decision to Roe v Wade.  The court did not cancel any abortion or access to abortion laws. It simply returned the right to make abortion laws to the states.

If any of these protestors can read they should read Roe v Wade. It made abortion legal in the first trimester, limited it in the second and outlawed it in the third trimester.

Current Virginia laws regarding abortion exceeds those permitted under Roe.  Virginia has been in violation of Roe v Wade for allowing abortion beyond the second trimester as have many other states. 

Do these protestors really want Roe v Wade enforced on a nationwide basis?

Protests

I just watched a montage of news clips of angry mobs protesting what I thought were Vaccine Mandates. They were carrying signs that said, “My Body, my choice”  “My right to choose”  “women’s rights” and similar things. It turned out I was mistaken again. They weren’t protesting being forced to accept an untested vaccine.

They were protesting allowing the states to legislate abortion.

I Identify As a Unicorn

I have decided to identify as a Unicorn. I am rare and wonderful. It doesn’t manner that I don’t have a horn on my forehead or four legs. I am a Unicorn and I expect you to accept that.  You must call me brave and courageous.  I expect to make the cover of Equine Magazine as Unicorn of the Year.

I don’t intend to have the surgery necessary to become a pseudo-Unicorn.  As Popeye says, “I yam what I yam.”  That is, a Unicorn. I may lack the essential parts that all Unicorns possess but that is YOUR problem. You must accept me as I am.

I have selected “Your excellency” as my pronoun. I don’t want to hear that “Your excellency” isn’t a pronoun. It is because I say it is.

Most importantly I am a disadvantaged minority.  Other minority groups that claim they are discriminated against are often less than one percent of the population.

I am the only Trans-Unicorn on earth. As far as that goes I will also accept “The Only” as a pronoun.

Frankly, I expect to experience some prejudice and hate because of this. You just can’t imagine how Trans-Unicorn-phobic most people are.

I also expect people to have some difficulty adjusting to my new status. After all, I have spent most of my life correcting people on the correct pronunciation of my name which by the way will remain my name as a Unicorn.  You may call me Averett (with a short a) as in Average, or you may call me Your Excellency, The Only or Faux Pa.

You, however, must agree I am a Unicorn.

Australian Rugby Player Can’t Play as a Woman

A six foot two, 220-pound former male will not be permitted to compete on the Women’s Rugby Team in Australia.   The world swimming organization FINA has ruled Trans-women cannot compete against biological women unless they transition before age 13.

The Trans community says that is unfair but they never explain why it is fair for them to compete.

Apparently it makes sense that a Trans-woman in a Women’s Prison has impregnated two other female inmates.

Can anyone explain how this makes sense?
