William George Buchanan Kenbridge

William George Buchanan, 74, of Kenbridge passed away on November 9, 2015.  He was a dedicated pharmacist for many years.  George was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved to fish.  He was the son of Helen Wilkinson Buchanan and the late O. M. “Buck” Buchanan.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sallie Ann Mahaney Buchanan; two children, Chris Buchanan (Dawn) and Sallie Manson Glenn (Randy); four grandchildren; Mattie Ann Buchanan, JEB Buchanan, Ann Turner Glenn, and Mary Margaret Glenn;  brother Miller Buchanan (Mary Jane) and sister Martee Buchanan. Visitation will take place Thursday at 11a.m. followed by a 1p.m. memorial service at the Episcopal Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, 512 S. Broad St., Kenbridge, Va.  Please, no flowers; instead, please consider a contribution to the Kenbridge Fire Department, Lunenburg Co.
