Victoria’s Eva Watson Highlighted On Arizona Softball Website

Victoria native Eva Watson was recently featured in a special “Know Your Wildcat” interview on the schools website.  The interview gave an in depth look at her likes and thoughts outside of the playing field, including her favorite ice cream (chocolate) and the idea that she may try to run track as well.

The junior outfielder at the University of Arizona is expected to be a big part of the outfield rotation this season.

She comes off a 2015 season where she started 25 games in center field and appeared in 19 more games . Some of her highlights included going a perfect 8-for-8 stealing bases,  which  was good for third most on the team. She was also tied for second on the team in triples and slugged .400 on the year.

The former Kenston Forest standout is the daughter of Richard and Melissa Watson of Lunenburg and granddaughter of Kathy and Roger Watson of Victoria.
