Victoria Man Arrested in Attempted Murder Plot
Written by Staff on February 1, 2018 at 1:55 pmVICTORIA – On January 29, 2018 the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Virginia State Police and the Victoria Police Department executed a search warrant and arrest warrant on 12th Street in Victoria.
Dwayne Matthew Brown, age 48, attempted to hire someone in a murder plot and was arrested for Solicitation of 2nd degree murder and Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon.
This incident is still under investigation. Brown is scheduled to appear before the Lunenburg General District Court on January 31, 2018 for arraignment.
