VES Class Wins Read To Succeed Contest

Mary Ann Whitlow’s fourth grade class at Victoria Elementary School recently won a National “Read To Succeed” contest using Achieve 3000. Students were awarded with a gift card to use for a celebration of the students’ choice. The class voted to have a pizza party to recognize their reading accomplishment. It is proven that the more Achieve 3000 lessons students complete, the greater their reading gains. Whitlow’s fourth grade students made remarkable reading gains over the contest period.
