Vandals Paint Farmville White

FARMVILLE – Early Tuesday morning, Farmville Police responded to seven calls for service pertaining to vandalism to vehicles. The calls ranged from the area of Orchard Street, A Street, and Second Street to Putney Street. Vehicles had been spray painted with white spray paint and two vehicles had windows damaged. Each vehicle received a swipe of paint along one side. There were also reports of the word “PURGE” and some profanity being spray painted in the street. Officers are currently checking the area, speaking with residents as part of the investigation. All incidents appear to have occurred during the overnight hours of Monday or early Tuesday morning and appear to be connected.
