Tractor-Trailer Overturns on Route 360

PRINCE EDWARD CO. – Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Prince Edward County. The crash occurred Nov. 29 at 3:21 p.m. on Route 360, less than a mile east of Germantown Road, north of Keysville.

A tractor-trailer was traveling east on Route 360 when it ran off the right side of the highway and struck a sign. The commercial vehicle then overturned in the roadway. The tractor-trailer was loaded with sheets of plywood, which were strewn across the travel lanes and side of the highway. 

The 62-year-old driver from Hartland, Maine was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the crash. He was charged with reckless driving.
