They call it news?

Well, throw me in hole and call me a tater. All of those big city newspapers and television stations are all excited that one of the Republicon candidates was accused of sexual harassment years ago. That’s “accused.” Still, they are calling it news. Maybe something happened- maybe nothing happened. When they can document it, then it is news.

logo-stump countyNow if he really harassed some woman, that’s wrong but what they are claiming is the woman said “he made me uncomfortable.” Shouldn’t it take more than that to start slandering a man’s character? I can tell you, back when I was a Quarter Whitt, lots of women made me “uncomfortable” just by looking nice and being friendly. Should I have filed complaints? Or should I wait and see if one of them runs for office as a Republicon?

Remember that President who had a problem with women? No, not that one. I’m talking about the most recent one who had a problem with women. Even when they proved he had misused his Office (and his office), his supporters defended what he did. Surely politics aren’t involved here.

How can anyone run for office unless they are so squeaky-clean they don’t have a personality? If you ran for office, who would show up from your past with a story about something you did?

Then we have President Yo Mama who “sprang up full growed” as we say here in Stump County. Not one person has showed up claiming to have dated him, been his childhood friend, went to school with him or even knew him.

Unless somebody shows up soon we’re going to assume he was dropped by aliens, or built in a lab by Dr. Frankenstein.
