STEPS, Inc. Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

FARMVILLE – CARF International announced that STEPS, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its Community Employment Services: Employment Supports; Community Employment Services: Job Development and Organizational Employment Services programs. The latest accreditation is the sixth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to STEPS, Inc.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality. 

STEPS, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with offices at 225 Industrial Park Road, Farmville, VA 23901. It has been providing Community Employment Services and Organizational Employment Services in the counties of Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward since 1982. “We take great pride in the quality of the services we provide and their impact on the lives of the citizens with disabilities we serve.
