Statesmen Victory!

Randolph-Henry Marching Statesmen traveled to Glenvar High School in Salem, Va. on September 30 to compete in the Celtic Classic.  This year›s show is entitled «Light up the Night.”  The Marching Statesmen received the following awards: 2nd place color guard; 2nd place music; 1st place drum major; 1st place percussion; 1st place general effect; 1st place marching; 1st place overall in Class AA.  They received the highest award of the day, GRAND CHAMPION for Classes A, AA, and AAA.  This award is given to the band with the highest overall score within those classes.  The band will be traveling to Hanover High School on October 14 for their next competition.
