We had to pass it to find out what was in it. We had to implement it to find out what it was going to cost and we had to start it before we could fix it.

government grumblingsAfter numerous self-serving cynical partisan attempts to block the billing for Obamacare until after the election we are finding that the original rates are being increased.

Customers are reporting rate increases of 25 to 80 percent.

It turns out the opposition was correct. It turns out if you liked your current policy you couldn’t keep it. It turns out we were lied to, mislead, misinformed and mistreated. It turns out “we, the people” got shafted yet again.

Early into the Obamacare signups a McKinsey Survey found: 74% Of Obamacare Sign-Ups Were Previously insured and that 53 percent of the new signups neglected to pay.

One newly insured we contacted was delighted with his new coverage. Due to a pre-existing condition he was previously uninsurable. He says His monthly medical costs were between $15,000 and $20,000. That is $15,000 each and every month. His new Obamacare policy was less than $300. He was delighted with a policy costing less than $300. per month.

Anyone who has basic math skills could have told our Government this wasn’t viable. In order to offset his care 50 people would have to enroll and have no claims.

We, the American people have a right to honest accurate information from our Government.

We have a right to expect honest accurate analysis of the expense of Government programs BEFORE they are passed.

We have a right to expect the same competence and accountability from our elected officials as we do from anyone else who works for us.

The question is Why don’t we demand it?
