Roy Lee Brown Obituary

Roy Lee Brown, 63, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2020. After a long Navy career, he retired to Keysville, Virginia where he worked as a handyman and lawn care person.  In 2017 he was diagnosed with lung cancer and Paraneoplastic Syndrome of the nervous system which gradually caused him to lose the use of his limbs. He was a Disabled American Veteran, a member of Briery Presbyterian Church, and a volunteer of County Line F.A.C.E.S. food bank at the Abilene Community Center.  He is survived by one brother, George Brown (Leona) of Springfield, OR; three sisters, Theresa M. Howard of Zephyrhills, FL; Wendy L. Bryan (Lewis Vaughan) of Chesapeake, VA; Nancy E. Willett (Steve) of Charlotte Court House, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
