Riggleman Stops By The Scoop

CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE – Republican candidate for Congress Denver Riggleman stopped by The Scoop on Saturday.  This isn’t Riggleman’s first visit to Charlotte County and he says it will not be his last. “The 5^th District is huge stretching from Danville to Warrenton, but it is important for me to visit all its corners because I will serve their interests in Congress.  I always enjoy seeing friends in Charlotte County.” The Republican nominee spoke with local small business owners and customers about how he can help reduce regulation and help the economy in Charlotte County grow.  “I love ice cream and small business so this works out perfectly,” Riggleman joked as he ate a scoop of cookies and cream.  Riggleman and his wife own Silverback Distillery in Afton, Virginia, where he has already felt the benefit of the tax cuts and jobs act along with Congress’ efforts to reduce regulations.  He hopes these benefits will help Charlotte County as well.
