LUNENBURG – The Lunenburg County Board of Supervisors recently announced that they will be allocating funds from the Federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act funding for Lunenburg County to help small businesses in Lunenburg.

The purpose of the Lunenburg CARES Small Business Grant Program is to provide immediate relief to small businesses (less than 50 employees) impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lunenburg County hopes to help small businesses regain some of the revenue losses from the COVID-19 emergency. The grant will not have to be repaid, it is not a loan.
