Main St. or Milnwood Rd. last Wednesday morning to call police.  At approximately 10:18 a.m. Wednesday morning, April 26th, Farmville Police responded to a robbery at Citizens Bank & Trust on South Main Street in Farmville, Va. A witness stated that the suspect was last seen walking towards a grey 4-door sedan, but it was unknown if the individual actually got into the vehicle.  Police later discovered a blue 2016 Nissan Sentra abandoned at the dead end of Woodland Ct., approximately one mile from the bank.  This vehicle was reported stolen from the City of Richmond on April 25th and, depending upon the lighting conditions, could appear to be blue, grey, or even green.  Woodland Ct. is off of Milnwood Rd., approximately ¼ mile from S. Main St.  Police are investigating any possible link between this vehicle and the bank robbery.

The suspect from the robbery was described as male, approximately 5’8” tall, with black curly hair and was possibly wearing a wig and dark sunglasses. The suspect was also wearing grey gloves, a tan flannel-lined long-sleeved shirt over a dark sweatshirt, and blue jeans. The initial description of the suspect given to police by witnesses at the scene was that of a medium to light skinned black male, but police cannot confirm the race of the suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Farmville Police Department at 434-392-3332.
