Randolph-Henry Wrestlers Prepare for Regionals

CHARLOTTE COURT HOUSE – The Randolph-Henry Wrestling team recently competed in the James River District Tournament at Nottoway High School. While the overall team did not finish at the top of the tournament standings this time, several Statesmen claimed district titles for their individual performances.

The winners were Danny Parrish in the 170-pound class, Shawn Copeland in the 113 pound class and Brycen Arbogast in the 106 pound class.

The Statesmen Wrestling team will travel to Poquoson for the 2A Regional Wrestling Tournament this Saturday. The top three finishers in the tournament move on to the state tournament and several of the individual wrestlers are expected to be in the mix to win the region.
