The Randolph-Henry High School Varsity Football Team will face off with the Buckingham Knights on October 3rd at Randolph-Henry High School as the Statesmen celebrate their annual Homecoming!

This week, the Statesmen have shown their pride by participating in “Spirit Week” to get everyone pumped up for the parade and football game on Friday night.  Wednesday served as “Wacky Tacky Day,” with students dressing up in bizarre outfits that surely turned a lot of heads in the hallways.  Thursday’s theme was “Blast from the Past” which featured some pretty “groovy” and “rad” styles.  Finally, on Friday the students will be decked out in their favorite blue and white attire to show support as the Statesmen prepare to take the field that night.

Last Friday, the Varsity Statesmen received their first win of the season in a matchup with the Cumberland Dukes with a final score of 44-15 and fans are hopeful that the Statesmen will keep the momentum going.

Friday’s festivities will kick off with a school-wide pep rally at 2 p.m., followed by the Homecoming parade beginning at 5 p.m.  Game time is 7 p.m. and will feature a half-time celebration to choose the next Homecoming King and Queen.  Come out and support the Statesmen!
