R-H track takes on Bulldogs, Barons

The Randolph-Henry Track Team faced Goochland and Bluestone in a battle of James River District teams last week.  Both the girls and boys came in third place for R-H during the meet with the following athletes placing in the top four places in their events.

Kiera Dodd placed 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the shot put

Nadya Pettus placed 1st in the 100 meter dash and 2nd in the 200 meter dash.

Melody Scott placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash and 4th in the 200 meter dash.

Takia Wade placed 3rd in the 1600 meter run and 2nd in the 800 meter run.

Dajah White placed 4th in the 1600 meter run and 2nd in the 3200 meter run.

Rebecca Bryant placed 3rd in the 800 meter run.

Chante Elam placed 4th in the 800 meter run.

4×800 relay team placed 1st and the relay consist of Takia Wade, Briana Thompson, Rebecca Bryant and Chante Elam.

4×400 relay team placed 2nd and the relay consist of Anisha Marable, Ty Banks, Briana Thompson, and Chante Elam.

Deon Shuford placed 3rd in the long jump and 4th in the 100 meter dash.

Chris Powell placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash and 2nd in the 200 meter dash.

Nasheim Pettus placed 2nd in the 400 meter run.

Ryan Craighead placed 3rd in the 800 meter run.

Billy French placed 4th in the 800 meter run.

John Wendelin placed 3rd in the 3200 meter run.

Jacob Barker placed 4th in the 3200 meter run.

4×800 relay team placed 2nd and the relay team consist of Josh Smith, Ryan Craighead, Marvin Lambert, and Nasheim Pettus.

4×100 relay team placed 2nd and the relay team consist of Chris Powell, Devon Brogden, Tywan Redd, and Deon Shuford.

4×400 relay team placed 2nd and the relay team consist of Josh Smith, Devon Brogden, Tywan Redd, Marvin Lambert.
