Prince Edward FBLA Members Place in Regional Competition

FARMVILLE – FBLA club members were recognized at the School Board Meeting on March 14, 2017. These students placed in their individual or team competition during the Regional competition at Longwood on March 2, 2017. Pictured L to R: Shy Banks, Natshayla Boyd, Franklin Morton, John Hart, Tyra Randolph, Qaveon Rawlings, Samantha Gomez, Mariah Harding, Shannon Abbott, Chameer Staten, Sherri Pillow (adviser), Karen Osborne (adviser) and Sheena Allen (adviser).

The following students had to place 1st or 2nd in order to compete in Reston, Va. on April 7th -8th in the FBLA State Leadership Conference and if they place at Reston, they may have the opportunity to attend the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California June 29-July 2nd. Italy Gayles placed 2nd in Business Law, Dominique Dews placed 1st in Client Service and she received the Future Business Achievement Award, JaKya Pettus and Tyra Randolph placed 1st in E-Business, Qaveon Rawlings placed 3rd in Cyber Security and was able to advance to 2nd place due to the 2nd place student not being able to compete.
Shannon Abbott, Samantha Gomez and Mariah Harding placed 1st in Graphic Design and Chameer Staten placed 2nd in Help Desk.
