Police Seeking Public’s Help With Food Lion Burglary

During the early morning hours of Monday, October 28, 2013, Farmville Police responded to an audible burglary alarm at the Food Lion grocery store, at 1592 S. Main St. Police found no one in the building; however, security cameras recorded an unidentified male suspect at various locations inside of the closed business. The suspect fled the scene moments before police arrival. The suspect is described as a male with medium skin tone, approximately 6’0 tall, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing a dark green ball cap, yellow and black striped “rugby style” long sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes, carrying a black backpack. The suspect also had what appeared to be white cotton work gloves with blue rubber palms, on his hands.
