Please, Add Me To Your List

A friend forwarded me this face book post. 

“People … Take inventory of all the Trump addresses. Everywhere where you see these signs. So you know where your racist neighbors are. So you know who is lying about loving everyone, who hides behind togetherness and How all lives matter … 

“This extends past political lines. If you can still support this man. You are not my friend. You can’t be. You can’t support a racist man, a man who supports the killing of my brothers, a man who MOCKS LGB TQ and special needs, a man who has caused more division than any DICTATOR we have gone to war with. This isn’t about the media or conservatism … this man has belittled and made a mockery of so many different groups of people … and people are STILL behind him to KEEP AMERICA GREAT. for who? He does not represent God. If you believe he does, you are about as dumb as he is. 

“If you vote for him, if you support him … you are against what it means to be an American. You are a terrorist. And we have NOTHING to say to each other. Don’t ‘brother’ me. Don’t even pray for me, because I don’t know YOUR GOD and I don’t need you praying witchcraft over me. My God told me to love my neighbors not plot against them. Not take food out of their mouths or kill them in cold blood. I don’t know your God. But I pray he delivers you out of that foolishness. “

I don’t personally know this man but I want to be added to his list.  I don’t want him or anyone else to think I might agree with him.

If I ran a business and believed as he does there would be a sign on my door, “NO TRUMP SUPPORTERS”.

I believe in taking stands even if it might hurt me financially.  

There are so many things wrong with this guy’s thinking it is hard to know where to start.  Is he attempting to limit the number of Trump signs? Is he planning retribution? Or does he think his charge of racism with no evidence really means something?  

If he were serious he would first document his claims against Trump.  Then he would be smart enough to know that even among their supporters few if any politicians have total support on every issue.  

So far I have never voted for Donald Trump.  In 2016 I voted for Libertarian Gary Johnson.  I did not believe Johnson could win but I could not and did not support Trump or Clinton.

On the other hand this man has a point.  He, like the White Supremacists, needs to stick to other people who think like he does.  Then the rest of us won’t be exposed to his hate.
