On Saturday, April 19, the Keysville Ball Park was buzzing with excitement as players and baseball fans gathered for opening ceremonies to kick-off the first ever “Little League” baseball season in Charlotte County.
Dwayne Tuggle, Little League Representative from Amherst, was present to witness the start of Keysville’s transition from Dixie Youth to Little League.
After the players and their coaches were announced, Robert Clowdis delivered the invocation followed by the first pitch, thrown by Keevin Francisco.
This season, the Keysville Little League organization has a total of 13 teams:
