P.E. Fccla Competes at State Leadership Conference

The Prince Edward County High School chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America competed at the state FCCLA Leadership in Virginia Beach.  Shaneka Johnson finished in the Silver Division (3rd place overall) in Chicken Fabrication/Knife Skills.  In the Culinary Arts Live event, Roneisha Stewart, Tanisha Francis, and Dante’ Bowles finished in the Bronze Division. Dante’ Bowles and Shykema Greene also completed the Power of One Project.  FCCLA is a national career and technical student organization that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education. Mr. Donald McClelland is the faculty adviser for the PECHS FCCLA chapter.
