If you took part in or watched as last month’s Truckers Parade Against Cancer (TPAC) rolled through Charlotte County, you could not help but notice the bright pink logging trailer.

The trailer belongs to Donnie Reaves, who drove his rig in the TPAC in memory of Gary H. Reaves.

Reaves, who lives in Coleman Falls, Virginia, contacted Key Truck and Equipment in Keysville to have the pink custom trailer built, according to the owner, Kenneth Jones.

The 15th annual TPAC raised more than $100,000 this year with 185 trucks taking part in the fundraising event.

Each truck displayed a banner in honor or memory of someone who has fought cancer and all money raised went to the American Cancer Society for cancer research.
