None of the Above for President

I think I am going to change my name to “None of The Above” and run for President.

The Super Tuesday Primary elections were an embarrassment to America. There were people who voted party line. There were people who voted for “change.” There were people who voted for personal interest. Somehow character, ability, experience and track record of the candidates didn’t count for much.

This isn’t a case of my candidate didn’t win. As I am not a member of either party I didn’t think I should help choose a candidate. Each party gets to choose and then I get to decide which is best and vote accordingly. I am just shocked that both parties are saying “this candidate is the best we have to offer.”

Clearly the majority didn’t vote for America. If I didn’t think they aren’t smart enough to pull off a vast conspiracy I would believe the Democrats infiltrated the Republican Party to pick the worst possible candidate and the Republicans infiltrated the Democratic Party to pick the worst possible candidate.

We have been told by supporters of multiple candidates to “get on the band wagon” and support their candidate. Frankly I took a look at those wagons and the folks on them and I’d just as soon walk.

There must be two good men or women in America who represent the average American.

It has been a long time since I was able to cast my vote in the presidential election with pride. All there has been is a lesser of two evils situation. This time it is going to be hard to decide which one is the lesser evil.

Unless something changes I am going to have to do a write in for “None of The Above.”
