The saga of missing Blackstone mother Crystal Griffin Redd took a turn  this week when she was picked up by police in Georgia Tuesday afternoon.

Crystal Griffin ReddThe mother of two has been missing and not seen by family members for over two months. She was also wanted in Blackstone on embezzlement charges after having been caught on camera taking money from Food Lion when helping close during a shift.

According to reports, Redd took money from the safe at the store and then returned to work prior to leaving the location and disappearing on November 20, 2015.

Reports indicate that Redd and her live-in boyfriend, Jim  Redmond Jr., were both missing since the November date.

Her family has pointed to the fact that Redd did not take many items with her on the day she disappeared as evidence that she may not have planned to leave on that day. Blackstone Police Chief Nick Kuzmiak confirmed in reports recently that Redd had not taken many items with her from her home prior to the disappearance.

The boyfriend, Redmond, was not wanted by Blackstone Police but is wanted by the U.S. Army, and they have him listed as a deserter, since 2013.
