Minor Injuries

At approximately 8:15 a.m. on March 24, Trooper M.S. Ollie responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 643 near Germantown Road. A 2004 Dodge Neon, driven by Cheharri Marshe S. Eddins, 23, of Farmville, was traveling north on Route 643 when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. Eddins was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. She suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Eddins is charged with failure to maintain control. The crash remains under investigation.
