Messenger Postal Issues Resolved

KEYSVILLE – As reported last month the Southside Messenger was having delivery problems with the Post Office. Since that article was written, we have been working with the USPS at several levels and believe all issues have been resolved.

The issue was caused by the consolidation of several post offices resulting in a delay in delivery.  In the past (in some cases) The Messenger was receiving SAME DAY SERVICE and neither we nor our customers realized just how fortunate we were.

With the recent adjustments, our postal customers in Charlotte, Prince Edward and Lunenburg should receive their Messenger on Thursday or Friday.  If you do not receive your Messenger by Friday, please let us know and we will attempt to resolve the issue.

Please keep in mind that when you receive your Messenger on Thursday (as many of you will) it is because Your Post Office is providing exceptional same-day service and thank them for it.
