Margaret Virginia Harvey Lucado, Keysville

Margaret Virginia Harvey Lucado, age 90, passed into Heaven on December 12, 2015. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, friend and Christian.  Virginia was born January 5, 1925, in Appomattox County to the late Bennie Wilson and Margaret Norfleet Harvey.  She was the last surviving sibling, being pre-deceased by brothers, Edward, Millard, and Herman Harvey and sisters, Vivian Ann Guill and Jessie Martin.  On March 15, 1946 she married the late Eddie Lucado.  She lived in the Eureka community for the rest of her life.  To this union were born Anita Russell (Charlie), David Lucado (Kaye), and the late E. W. Lucado (Late Karen).  Virginia is survived by seven grandchildren who she dearly loved, LeAnne Emert (David), Randy Russell (Ashley), David Earl Lucado, Jr., Paul Lucado, Patrick Lucado (Kim), Ellen Matthews (Jason), and Maria Lucado.  She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren,  Drew and Taylor Newton, Anna and Sara Russell, Julia, Trey, and Kristen Lucado, Jalyn and Gabe Matthews, E. W. Lucado, Kobe and Logan Epps, Sydney Holt, and Skylar Solomon.

Visitation was at her home at 544 Mt. Harmony Road, Keysville, Va., on Monday, December 14, from 2 to 7 p.m.  Services were held at Eureka Baptist Church Keysville, Va., on Tuesday, December 15, at 2 p.m.  Interment followed at 3:30 p.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Appomattox County, Va.  Donations may be sent to Eureka Baptist Church.  She will be remembered by her family for her hot rolls and beautiful knitted and crocheted things which she shared with us.  Rest in peace God’s good and faithful servant.  The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, Va. is in charge arrangements
