Man Charged Following Bomb Threat

According to Sheriff Wesley Reed of the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office, on May 7, 2015, deputies were called out to Trinity Missions after an administrator there stated that a sticky note found in a residential room on a sink claimed that a bomb was in the building. The evacuation policy was followed and 110 people were evacuated from the building. The Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, Farmville Police Department, and Prince Edward Rescue Squad responded to the scene, along with the State Police Bomb Canine Unit. No bomb was found on the premises. Dominique Whitehead, age 33, was arrested and charged at the scene.
