Lutz Takes State Title

FARMVILLE – Prince Edward High School golf standout Henry Lutz was recently named the Region 2A East Golfer of the Year after being the medalist in the Region and he carried that momentum into the Virginia High School League Group 2A State Golf Championship where he once again was the top golfer and took home the State Championship win.

Lutz was consistent throughout the tournament while shooting even par-70 over the two day event. This is the second consecutive year that Lutz has qualified for the state tournament.

The 1A and 2A groups competed together in the State Tournament and Lutz was the low scorer and top golfer for both groups after the 140 score.
