Lunenburg Pixs Included in Midlothian Art Show

Nutbush native, Robby Batte, has been selected as Featured Artist of the month by Richmond Camera. Robby’s photographs are on display at the Midlothian location for the month of August.

“I’m excited to be able to share my photos with so many people,” said Robby. “I’m just really humbled to have been selected.”

What began as a hobby has grown into a burgeoning business. Encouraged by friends to do more with his talent, Robby began sharing his work on social media sites such as Facebook under the name Shutterbatte Photography. This led to requests for photo shoots for brides-to-be and most recently, family portraits in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina.

Exhibits at a Richmond salon and restaurant are in the works as well.

Robby hopes to have some of his photos—local shots from Lunenburg County—on display at Autumn Days in Victoria this year.
