KENBRIDGE – In a tough time for all businesses, opening a new venture can be extremely difficult, but Twigs-n-Things in Kenbridge had a good grand opening event this past Saturday.

Owners Bob and Pam Mundhenk stated, “We at Twigs-n-Things cannot thank everyone enough for your support of our new venture. Your visits at our business today for our Grand Opening were truly Heaven sent.”

The duo announced that they would be going forward with the grand opening while taking all necessary precautions as stated by Governor Northam for businesses that remain open.

The day included good food, garden plants, Easter hanging baskets and more. The couple continues to run their business in Victoria known as RAI Growers. This location serves as wholesale grower for landscapers and other retailers as well as providing the growing grounds for the Twigs-n-Things garden center.

Pam said that the idea of opening this second business in Kenbridge came about as Bob was doing landscaping work for the owner of the Kenbridge property. He mentioned that he would like to have the business location open again and the husband and wife stated, “As they say, the rest is history.”

The Twigs-n-Things location is a garden center that plans to offer anything and everything to do with gardening from plants and shrubs to birdhouses and pollinator feeds and garden decor.

The couple has a wealth of knowledge in this business as Bob has over 50 years of experience working with and around plants. Pam stated, “His expertise is key to the success of this new venture.” Meanwhile, Pam, who is a graduate of Central High School, will be at the Kenbridge business daily. She has spent her entire career working with the public, and stated, “I will offer my heart to this business.”

The business is located at 319 Main St., Kenbridge. The company also has a Facebook page with more information. The phone number is (434) 676-8944.
