Local Authorities Continue Search for Suspect

Ghee is wanted on five outstanding warrants

Following a release last week from the Lunenburg County Sheriff’s Office indicating that they are looking for Leonard Jamel Ghee, who is wanted for five outstanding warrants, the search continues.

Lunenburg County Sheriff officials indicated that they are still looking for Ghee and are asking for any information from the public that could lead to locating the wanted man.

There have been some tips coming into the office that are being investigated, but any additional information that can be helpful to locating Ghee should be given to Crimesolvers at 434-696-3100 or contact the Sheriff’s Office at 434-696-4452.

The incident took place in Lunenburg County during the early morning hours of September 21, 2015 that led to a chase and eventually these outstanding warrants.

 Ghee is described as a black male that is approximately 5’5” in height and is believed to weigh around 140 pounds. The charges against Ghee include eluding, obstruction of justice, reckless driving, trespassing and driving while suspended.
