LMS Volleyball Ends Successful First Season

In the inaugural season for any team, tough times and growing pains are to be expected, but for the Lunenburg Middle School Blue Devils volleyball team, they came out in their first year with  wins and a strong season.

The group would end the regular season tied with Bluestone for second place in the East bracket of the Southside Middle School Conference.  The team traveled to Amelia High School on Saturday to play in the Middle School Championship tournament and couldn’t come home with a win, but that didn’t take away from the success the group had this year.

The LMS team recently celebrated the final home game of the season and honored their eighth grade players that helped make the first season a big success.
