Domestic Violence – Be Aware

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Madeline’s House would like to share some facts with you on domestic violence.

The number one cause of death during pregnancy in the United States is domestic violence.

During the years of the Iraq war, almost twice as many women died due to domestic violence than soldiers (11,766 women and 6,614 soldiers).

10 million children are exposed to domestic violence a year.

63% of homelessness of women is due to domestic violence.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will be victims of domestic violence.

These statistics are alarming and can be overwhelming.  But, there are ways that you can help: be supportive if someone you know is a victim, offer help or offer to get them help, teach healthy relationship skills to the youth in your life, contact a local shelter to volunteer or for more ideas.

Voters Must Consider Clinton’s Stand on Abortion

None matters more than babies in the womb of the mother for they are helpless and entitled to tender loving care. If you doubt this, I suggest you read Psalm 139:13-15.

According to the statistics, three million abortions are performed each year in the United States.

The muted voice of the churches today and the voice of liberal religion contribute little toward emphasizing the need for the protection of the unborn.

Carefully consider the positions of the two major political parties relative to abortion. The Democratic Party platform seeks to repeal the 1976 HYDE Amendment, so that federal funds can be used to pay for abortions. The platform says, “We will continue to stand up to Republication efforts to defund Planned Parenthood”. Democrats support ratification of the United Nations efforts that affirm the reproductive rights to women globally. The GOP asserts the sanctity of human life. The child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed. The party supports a Human Life Amendment making clear that the 14th Amendment protections apply to children before birth, and it salutes states that require informed consent, parental consent, waiting periods, and clinic regulation.

Hillary Clinton loves to tell how she’s spent the better part of her life working for the wellbeing of all children. However, she forgot to tell how she stopped short when it came to the unborn.

Eight years of the Obama administration has been a near disaster at home and abroad. We cannot afford these policies to be continued under Hillary Clinton by electing her as President. God forbid! VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP!

Trump Crumpled Under Clinton Rhetoric

Donald Trump was on the edge of many powerful topics during the 3rd debate but, wasn’t able to articulate the decisive blows needed to close the deal. Concerning the Second Amendment, Trump needed to point out that AR-15 type rifles Hillary wants to outlaw are the least used firearm in criminal activity taking far fewer lives in America each year than deaths caused by knives, hands and feet according to the FBI Crime Reports. Hillary does not have a justified purpose here but, an agenda to ban as many guns as she can all starting with Assault style weapons.

Hillary deflected the painful truths that Wiki leaks have brought to light about her and her campaign. She brought focus (instead) to e mail hacking she suspects Russia of doing to influence the election. Trump missed nailing Hillary to the wall here. The Russians need not hack too hard since Hillary uses a variety of unsecured servers to transmit classified information. She virtually hands the enemies of America all the vital or classified information they want!

Trump was also right about America being the world’s (unpaid) police department. No wonder this nation is so in debt. We pay to defend South Korea, Germany and Japan. We are called in to unravel rats nests like Syria and Mosel. We give freedom back to Kuwait. It’s time they paid up! When refugees of war are displaced, Hillary wants to bring them all to America! A foreign flood of unvetted people who don’t know the American language or culture who can’t contribute to our society but, must be subsidized by the American tax payer. No wonder America is broke and Trump is so right… America is being played and our system must change !

Hillary loves attacking Trump on taxes. Here the “Queen of thieves” is pointing an accusative finger! Trump has broken no laws and is working within IRS rules. Trump needed to ask how Bill and Hillary stuffed their personal accounts with hundreds of millions of dollars! They don’t have the kind of employment to acquire those sums unless they tapped into their slush fund called, “The Clinton Foundation”. How was it that Bill’s usual 250k speaking fees suddenly went up to 750k (per 20 minute speech) once Hillary became Secretary of state? Hillary’s new job put her in the position to “peddle influence” or, “pay for play” using Bill’s speeches as some semblance of legitimacy to receive these very high wages!

Hillary masquerades as a crusader for women’s rights while she and Bill rake in millions from countries that spit on women’s rights! Hillary had no hesitation to bring all the power and influence she has to crush the women Bill sexually exploited. Peel away Hillary’s pretentious, “altruistic” veneer and you see a money and power junkie! Her “Stronger Together” slogan is a mockery! Hillary reflexively referred to tens of millions of Americans (from every walk of life) as an, “irredeemable basket of deplorables”! That is the true unvarnished sentiment Hillary has toward Americans who dare challenge her!

Hillary boasted that the FBI and Justice Dept. cleared her of any wrong doing. Trump was right (yet again). Hillary has no business being a candidate for president ! The system is rigged and anyone with half a brain saw clearly the FBI and Justice Dept. were political pawns of the Obama administration. Every standard investigative procedure by these 2 law enforcement agencies were bent, twisted, broken and manipulated to set Hillary free of charges. There is hardly a person on the street (of either party) that can’t see the rule of law was purposely decapitated to get Hillary off!  The system is rigged… Indeed!

America… listen up! What we have here in Hillary is the most (verifiably) corrupt and morally bankrupt candidate who ever had the audacity to run for the highest office in these United States. To put it any other way would be one more injustice on top of what we’ve already tolerated!

Citizen Asks for County Home Assistance

I live in Charlotte County, I read in the paper that Charlotte County had given a nice donation to Appomattox County, God bless them.

My house was destroyed by a tornado on June 20, 2015, it was three disabled people living there on low incomes and we were deemed eligible for a new house and our home was condemned that very night. We are still homeless, living in someone else’s home.

After going through some red tape and waiting all this time, tell us, the Government is out of funds. I want to know if Charlotte County can help us?
