LCPS to Offer Kindergarten Registration, Program for Parents

LUNENBURG – Lunenburg County Public Schools will hold Kindergarten Registration the week of March 6-10, 2017 with a program offering information on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 9 – 11 a.m. at Victoria Elementary School and Kenbridge Elementary School.

Parents must register their children in the school zone in which they live and can do so at the corresponding elementary school from 9 am-3 pm. In order to attend Kindergarten, children should be 5 years old by September 30, 2017.

In order to register, a birth certificate, health immunization records and proof of residency is needed.

The program on Friday will also allow students to get registered, have bus registration, have a bus ride and lunch along with teacher directed classroom activities for the children. Parents will also have a chance to hear how their involvement and role in the school experience can be a great partnership between home and school.
