Lady Chargers Shut Out Prince Edward Eagles

The Central Chargers Softball team took on Prince Edward in a make-up game on Monday night and came away with a 4-0 victory.

Central got a strong pitching performance from Hailey Bayne as she went all seven innings for the Lady Chargers and had fourteen strikeouts.

The Central offense was led by Kayla Anthony, who collected three hits on the night along with an RBI. Riley Jones and Sorie Scott both had hits for Central as well.

The game was decided in the second inning when Central put together a four run rally. That would be all of the scoring in the game with Central claiming the win and moving to 9-6 on the season.
