Kudos for Customer Service!

• Kudos to Mike Douglas, owner of Douglas Parts and Service in Drakes Branch. When I was having lots of trouble with my car this past winter, Mike went out of his way to make things easier for me. He and his tow truck saved me lots of aggravation and he was more than accommodating, working around my schedule.

• Kudos to Doug Wilmouth, the Lawn Mower Doctor who makes house calls. Having no way to get my green machine to Cullen, Mr. Wilmouth comes right to my garage, picks up the mower and has it ready to go in no time.

• Kudos to Hilma Hamilton at Dollar General in Charlotte Court House. Hilma has seen to it that our local store is not only involved in the community but contributes as well. Her store makes ongoing donations to the cause of improving literacy in the area. Just last week, Hilma donated four cases of bottled water to the folks working to pick up trash during the county-wide trash pick-up day.

These three people remember what customer service used to be like. They are kind folks who go out of their way to provide service that will keep patrons coming back time and time again.
