IMG_0449The Friends of the Fort Mitchell and Keysville Depots had a stew and yard sale on Saturday November 9th to raise money for repairs on the Fort Mitchell Depot. Stew master Melvin Woodson cooked the stew which was sold out as quickly as the containers were filled.

The next step will be to replace the rotted sills and repair the front wall.

This Saturday, November 16 will be another Depot Day. Volunteers will clean and save the original brick for future use and continue working to temporarily repair the leaking roof on the offices and waiting rooms to stop the damage until permanent repairs can be made.

Work will begin at 9:00 am. Anyone interesting in saving the Historic Keysville Depot is welcome.
