POWHATAN – Kenston Forest traveled to Powhatan to renew their football rivalry with Blessed-Sacrament Huguenot Academy for the Knights Homecoming game.  BSH took the lead in the first quarter 8-0, stopped the Kavs from scoring, and the ran up a big margin, leading 28-0 at the half.  The final score stood at BSH-44, KFS-0.

After the Knights first score, Kenston had opportunities, but could not capitalize following two big plays.  The first was a nice pass completion from Tyler Daniel to Jackson Taylor for a 48-yard gain.  The second was an excellent tackle-breaking run by JEB Buchanan for 63 yards.   Buchanan led the offense with 97 yards rushing, 50 yards in returns, and 12 yards receiving.  He also led the defense with 13 tackles.  Kenston Forest plays their annual Homecoming game on Friday versus Hampton Roads.  The Kavaliers hope to have back a number of injured players.
