The best way to insure the good behavior of correctional officers and prisoners is to put cameras in all blind spots in all prisons and then putting all cameras on the Internet to be viewed by the public.

Reader Exposes Sole Source

Anyone who has watched the news or read a paper in the last two years knows about Gruber, like your doctor and keep him etc.  But I have seen or heard nothing about the contractual legality of the various HHS contracts for people and firms who got almost $1 billion for developing this monstrosity called Obamacare.

It was without a doubt illegal per the feds acquisition rules based on federal laws which are called FAR Part 15.

This says you can only give a contract to a firm without competition (sole source) if this person or firm is the only source we can find.

Imagine if the Air Force would need 100 snow plows and decides to call only John Deere. Illegal!

I wrote a 100-page monograph on this subject 25 years ago.  What did the White House and HHS write?

And to make it worse, their sole source could not perform, lost the contract and was replaced.  This, alone, proves it was not a valid sole source.
