Juvenile Identified in Farmville Spray Paintings

FARMVILLE- While on patrol at approximately 12:17 a.m. Monday, an officer of the Farmville Police Department observed a red Ford Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed on Graham Road. After conducting a traffic stop, a 17-year-old juvenile was identified as the driver and a bag of suspected marijuana and cans of spray paint were found inside the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, the juvenile confessed to spray painting several locations with graffiti along South Main Street and Mill Street last Wednesday night, as well as other locations Thursday night. The juvenile was released to his parents and charges are pending. The case remains under investigation at this time and it is unknown whether there is a connection to the recent vandalisms along A Street, Second Street or Orchard Street from the week prior.  If anyone has any information concerning any of the recent vandalisms, they are encouraged to contact the Farmville Police Department at 434-392- 3332.
