Hit and Run Dundas Incident Leads to Search for Culprit

hit-and-run-dundas-incidentLUNENBURG – Virginia State Police officials continue to investigate a recent hit and run accident that took place in Lunenburg County.

The accident took place in the late night hours of Saturday (9-17) or the early morning hours on Sunday (9-18).

Virginia State Trooper C. Hudson is currently looking for a Ford F-150 Harley Davidson edition pickup that is believed to have been involved in the incident. Trooper Hudson said that the truck will have damage on the driver’s side and the mirror will be missing. There was also damage to the driver side tail light assembly as that was also mostly or completely missing.

The hit and run accident took place at the intersection of Sugar Hill Road and Gigg Road in Dundas. Residents in the Lunenburg, South Hill and Brunswick areas are asked to be on the lookout for a vehicle that could have been involved. While the model of the truck is known, the color was not confirmed.
